Desktop and Network Solutions

Three19 designs and develops software solutions for networks and desktops (PC and Mac). These solutions range from simple games to utility programs and from financial software to simulation software. Here are some examples of the work we have done.

Simulicious

Developed in concert with the folks at Larenda. Simulicious™ is an innovative discrete event Simulation Software Engine (SSE) used to develop and demonstrate patient throughput scenarios for analysis. Through the study of multidimensional “what if” factors and sequences such as: wait times, bottlenecks, staffing requirements, resource management, facility design, revenue outcomes, and process re-design predictability – strategic planning is maximized prior to live implementation. Each Simulicious™ deployment consists of the core engine (SSE) and Facility Configuration Module (FCM).

Software Prototyper

Prototyping is an important part of software design and development processes at three19. Prototyping allows us to focus on software functionality without the need to get bogged down with expensive graphics. This process results in signiificant time and money savings for us as well as for our clients. We developed a software prototyping tool to help our clients and our GUI designers quickly depict screen designs and desired functionality. This has resulted in greater efficiencies.

We recently realized that others might be able to benefit from our in-house prototyping tool, so we are polishing it off and will soon make it available to the public.

Project Information Portal

The Project Information Portal (called “PIP” for short) is a virtual whiteboard that resides on your desktop computer. It also the user to track and update categorized tasks. The system auto-updates and provides a convenient view of all your projects at a glance. This product has not yet been made commercially available, but should be out soon.

Collaborative Agile Program

We use agile development methodologies at three19. To facilitate agile and scrum processes for our distributed team, we developed the Collaborative Agile Program, also known as “CAP” and formerly know as “Kagile.” CAP is an electronic collaborative software application (ECSA) that supports geographically disbursed teams in the agile/scrum process.

The system can be used asynchronously or synchronously. No matter how you use it, the data will always be there for any and all of your team to see. You do not have to worry about emailing files around or confusing URLs.
